The Association exists to represent the views of its members to key decision-makers. Our focus is those issues of greatest commercial threat to operators.

National and local policy decisions can have a significant impact on profitability. We aim to have a constructive input into this process to ensure that the needs of our members are taken into account.

We maintain a regular dialogue with MPs and Ministers, as well as policy officials at a local and national level, the police and other regulatory authorities. Where appropriate, we will respond to consultations on new laws and give evidence to policy making bodies. In addition, we will work collectively to challenge interpretations of the law which run counter to our commercial interests.
